CARBOLITE RODS ARE DESIGNED TO MEET THE HIGH EXPECTATIONS OF BOTH SURF AND BOAT FISHERMEN AND WOMEN.
The design brief for the boat series was to have fast action blank, with high quality components, for casting and fishing baits on either braid or mono. The Shimano Carbolite Overhead Boat Rod was created using the ultra-strong T45 construction method and high quality Fuji components. For the Surf rods, the same T45 construction method was used to create an ultra-powerful surf rod with a slick butt and robust cap end to protect the blank from galv rod holders. Perfect rod for a variety of surf conditions.
