Night Fishing is a good method for catching broadbill on the surface, best bite time for broady surface drifting is from one hour before dark till 3 hours after dark. 90% of swordfish strike will be in this time period. Night fishing is also very effective for catching large bass, as they predominantly prefer night feeding. And for surfcasting, first 2 hours after change of light is by far the most productive.
