Simply put; The Salina series has the smoothest drag on the market.
 

The Salina is constructed with a DFD (dual force drag) system, which offers drag plates in the top of the spool and a massive plate in the bottom which offers unbelievable drag capacity. We use Multi Disk oiled felt washers because we want the smoothest drag possible, and we believe we have achieved that. Our Drag tests found that The Salina was up to 2 times smoother than competing high end reels and only gave 850g of variation through a 9kg test.
